[Healeys] Upholstery glue

I have been doing some upholstery work recently and figured the 3M product you mention should be the best choice.  Wrong!  After about 2 months I experienced the same release you did.  I went to my new and recently met car audio guy and he sold me some of the yellow stuff which he uses.  Don't know the name but he swears by it.  It reminds me of a product I used decades ago in gluing upholstery (also obtained from a upholstery guy).  He referred to it then as "elephant snot".

My "go to" upholstery spray adhesive has always been 3M super 77. Works well, but after some time it tends to release. Anyone find anything better, tack and endurance. TY, Shawn
