[Healeys] BN6 Hardtop Assembly

After a delay of many years with it stored in pieces, starting to
reassemble this Healey hardtop. Found a useful article by Roger Moment
online which he rightly describes the task as a bit of a Chinese puzzle.
Right now struggling to slide the liner back into the hardtop shell. No
problem until it sticks and comes up about 6” short of its destination.
Removed the two front pieces of spacer carpeting stuck to the shell and
that helped a bit but it’s now binding on the previously installed edge
trim around the door opening. Don’t really want to take them off again! Any
suggestions out there?
