I would say yes and a control valve assembly and other stuff. I could not find the BJ8 Michael mentioned on the Fantasy Junction website to look for additional info on the car in question.

I’ve seen it [and had it] on 4x4 trucks that were lifted – typically 3-4” or more – but never on a vehicle as low as a Healey. I can’t imagine why a Healey would need or benefit from a steering dampener [unless maybe to compensate for a LOT o slop in the steering, but sheesh!].
