MelI have always kept mine filled to the top.  If it is leaking at the seals I would say you got a defective shock.  I use motorcyle fork oil Harley davidson type ESent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.

My question to the list, how far down from the fill hole should the oil level be. Also, what oil can be used in the shock?Mel Brunet67 BJ8_______________________________________________Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.htmlSuggested annual donation  $12.75Archive: http://www.team.net/pipermail/healeys http://autox.team.net/archiveHealeys@autox.team.nethttp://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeysUnsubscribe/Manage: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/healeys/banjojohn@cox.net
