[Healeys] POR15 in frame?

Sarah,
During the resto of my BN7 I removed the front caps of the main frame rails.  They needed to be remade.  While removed I used the hose and tank of an old sprayer to sprayer Waxoyl into the main rails.  The product was only thinned enough to make it sprayable with the set up.  Made up an extension so I could reach all the way back.  In theory it should be a good thing.  However, these cars are no longer driven daily as in their early lives so any such treatment is probably an overkill.  Still no harm in doing what you propose.Keith

Subject: [Healeys] POR15 in frame?

The man working on my 100 (frame & welded-on body parts all blasted & primed) is wondering if it would be a good idea to pour some POR15 into the holes in the frame and move the car around (it’s on a rotisserie) to spread the stuff around inside the frame rails.  What’s the List’s opinion? Thanks,Sarah Carr BN1 in PA_______________________________________________
