[Healeys] Healey BN-1 rear

Does anyone have the specifications for installing a 3:5 or so gear set
into an early BN-1 100-4 differential? I am looking for pinion preload and
ring gear lash etc.My friend with his 100-4 spends a lot of time on the
highway and would like to lower his rpm's at highway speeds. Denis Welch
has the gearset needed, just would need specs, available of shims, bearings
etc. I have done several conversions on Healey 3000's but the BN-1 third
member is a different animal
