It looks like a Coolaire of Miami A/C unit that was available from a company in Miami, FL. I installed one in my '67 BJ8 when I lived there back in the '60s. I was my every day car for 7 years and the heat in the summer was like a furnace back then. It was factory authorized and here is a link to the info:;

I like it. Rather I admire the skill that’s gone into it. And the time and perseverance and the money….my goodness, it must have cost a bob or two. But he set out to do something and he did it. The “something” may not be to our taste, but that’s OK too.
Personally, I’d like to own it….but only for about a week!
