[Healeys] aluminum Radiator on ebay

Here a tip, irrespective of whether you have an original radiator, or especially an alloy one.
Swap the bottom mounting ears side to side.
Then you have a gap to mount a rubberized mounting reel.
In Australia, that's an FJ holden 3/8 bolt rubber Centred radiator mount.
Buy 2 pair at your local Repco.
So for my American friends, you are looking for a radiator mounting with 3/8-24 studs either end, and a "cotton reel" rubber block in the centre.
Grind about 3 threads off a Holden FJ one, on the inside where it bolts to the radiator bracket, and now your bottom radiator mounts now are rubberised. No more issues from vibration.
Vibration kills solid mounted radiators.

That included other measures, but when I got into slow traffic in really ahot weather here in Florida, things heated up altogether too quickly. A year or so ago I bought one of the no-name Chinese radiators and eventually installed it. While the jury is still out, I think it has improved my cooling. But there are a few negatives. The included radiator cap doesn't interchange with the one on a Healey, and I don't know if that cap is available if replacement is necessary. Also, the aluminum matrix on the radiator is extremely sensitive to distortion. As there are no fixed nuts on the attachment fixtures at either side, getting the radiator installed is more difficult and led to some damage that I had to correct. Most troubling, with the radiator in the lowest possible position--which means when the hose outlet at the bottom comes in contact against the cross member behind the radiator--I found the radiator's tank front corners made contact with the underside of the hood and ditto the rear of the radiator cap against the hood cross brace. I verified those contacts with tabs of modeling clay. I addressed the problem by slightly loosening the hood latch, and all seems to be working OK for now. Also, I paid more than the price listed in the ad that prompted this discussion. I'm hanging onto the original radiator just in case.

No CFM rating on the fan and it looks like it mounts to the radiator with nylon strapping through the fins. The teeth on the strapping can actually saw through the aluminum when these fans vibrate. I paid over $500 for my custom Wizard radiator with an aluminum shroud to which I could bolt my fan. Not cheap, but it really cools my V8 and I'm assured of the quality.
