I leave eastern North Carolina on Sunday to rendezvous with a small group out of Charlotte in Virginia on Monday.   We'll head up through WV, OH, IN, IL, IA, and SD to arrive in Rapid City on Thursday to assemble the post-Conclave tour group, then to Deadwood on Friday.

 

The post-Conclave tour will leave after Conclave on Wednesday 11 September to explore ND (Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center in Washburn/Fort Mandan), MN (Grand Rapids for lunch -- remember Conclave 2001?, dinner cruise on Lake Superior at Duluth), WI (Oshkosh Experimental Aircraft Association museum), high-speed ferry across Lake Michigan to MI, IN (Notre Dame campus, Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum), arrive in Dayton Wednesday 18 September.   Air Force museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton and Dayton Wire Wheel on Thursday, then head for home.

 

All who are traveling to Deadwood:  have a great trip, and be safe!

So who and when are the Healey Travelers getting on the road heading for the Conclave in Deadwood SD.


Our group of 4 leave California on Wednesday Sept 4th for a 2 1/2 day blast to Deadwood. Then on the return trip its 5 days thru Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Snake River, Sun Valley, Boise and then back into the Nevada Desert and big city of Lovelock NV.
