[Healeys] radiator caps

Hello,

The Stant 10206 is a good choice. It is a good quality product and matches
the OEM 7 psi pressure rating and it can be used with and without a vented
coolant overflow tank. The radiator cap has three important jobs: seal the
radiator, regulate the pressure of the cooling system and allow coolant to
leave the system as it expands and an optional 4th job is to bring coolant
back as it contracts. I would not suggest buying a radiator cap that does
clearly state the pressure rating. Our older cars won't tolerate a high
pressure cooling system.

I got a buck says the Napa cap is made by Stant. At any rate, both are
known--mostly--for decent quality.

Note the issue with Healey caps is the neck of the rad is a non-standard,
longish length (inch-and-a-quarter or thereabouts).

Is one better than the other? Does anyone have a better part # for a locally
sourced part
