Hi Simon,
All 3000's have one as standard. But yours is   now over 50 years old.....
The rubber eventually delaminates, and the standard 50 year old one wasn't a particularly good design. 
I've had this pro race one on my engine for the past 20 years
Denis Welch sells this exact one as his road spec one. 

On an aftermarket steel crank you need a better one, but this one  is fine up to 6,000 rpm
