[Healeys] Fuel gauge damper's super capacitor

I bought mine from Zims Autotechnik (www.allzim.com <http://www.allzim.com> , 800-356-2964; he’s a Porsche guy), part # ZIM.201.000.XX.  Just had to replace it last July when I had to replace the wiring harness due to a meltdown (long story).  Cost $21 plus shipping from Texas.  I had my first one installed for years with no problems whatsoever.  I’ve found they work very well.

I did the modification in the link below several years ago and my fuel gauge needle is now stable.

I have read about this idea many times and never heard of anyone having their tank explode as a result ... probably because they didn't survive!!!

Such a modification is really not necessary as the following solution works perfectly.
