[Healeys] Window glass

Those of us with the real Brit sports cars have side screens and manual soft tops which never see the sun ;or rain.
Hence no worries re cranks, window glass shattering etc.

Also be sure to make sure the rear glass guide channel is properly secured.  If it is loose, it will cause the glass to bang around every time you shut the door (happened to me!).  Also as other's have pointed out, a too long of a screw on the pull handle is a frequent culprit.

Listers,

I closed the door on my 66 BJ8 a couple of hours ago and my door glass shattered. The window was down so only a few fragments hit me.  I will have to remove the door panel to gain access to the innards.  Anything there to look out for?

What are recommended sources for replacement glass that fits properly?
