So I found all kinds of info on lever arm shocks and dampers, and when the
Armstrong type began to be used and references to the *Armstrong Patents
CO., Ltd., Fullord, York, but nothing about who Armstrong was? The
Armstrong in your Wiki, seems to have died too early, but possibly his
nephew who took over the company was responsible...*
