[Healeys] interesting list of flawed classics

Well, that’s hardly surprising. It was about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

A friend of mine had one from new. It looked great. Then it started to rust. Then it was practically dissolving.

The story of cheap Russian steel rings a bell….full of impurities, or something. I can’t remember. His car was worthless after about 3 years. Finished the company in the UK so far as I recall.

(We used to expect a little rust here and there – it’s the weather – but to turn into an oxide puddle is too much).

Interesting that the list is also flawed as no. 1 and no. 6 show the same car – the Lancia Beta.
