[Healeys] Heater fan

I have a similar issue on our BJ8. I found that there was no opening between the heater box and the air plenum (hot air door assembly) at the front (engine side) of the heater box. Obviously at some point that sheet metal had been replaced as I understand there is normally a gasketted rectangular opening between the two.

Other thoughts might be plugged heating coil airside or closed damper (immediately upstream of the heater box under the dash).

Good luck!

Subject: [Healeys] Heater fan

When I turn the fan on there is no air coming through the hot air door assembly just above me feet. There is air coming from the fan and going into the heater.

Looked in the manuals and can’t see where or what the connection is.

I know the temps here have been 85F however this has become an “intellectual” problem that needs to be solved.
