Why just North? If you can stretch to Monterey, there is a Celebration of Fine British Automobiles, Rule Britannia at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey at 7:30-10 pm on August 21. I can get you a comp ticket.

This little gem exploded today while quietly sitting under the rear of my recently repurchased AH 100 Modified. Checked the other rear tire after the event and it was at 44 PSI air pressure. Have no idea what the pressure was in this tire but assuming it was about the same. Made the car jump off the concrete far enough to trap a piece of rubber under the tire. Ladies and Gentlemen please check you tire pressures! Glad I wasn?t closer to the car.
Perry

Even though it has been bloody hot around these parts, I have managed to
get a drive in 8 of the last nine days, including two drives in yesterday
as it was a 70s degree evening. I could not get a drive in today and it is
now north of 90, with 101 predicted for tomorrow and I need to go into work
in the afternoon. So my record run of daily drives ends today. I have
completed just short of 1500 miles this summer including a 700 mile RT
drive to Sooke, British Columbia for the Northwest Meet. The car is
averaging 22 MPG and running like a top. Should get quite a few more trips
inbefore the rains return in earnest.

Installed LED Headlights, fixed the mounting bracket for headlight rim on left side, the screw now screws into something, installed LED reflector light turn signal and brake light kit. Hope to get my grille installed this week. Just need to install the rest of my interior, fix my off side door remote and cockpit molding and my resto started 42 years ago will be complete.

Next up: 67 MGB I bought for my wife. Wish I had 42 years to work on it :) I retire next June and its my tinker project

Perry,

Ouch.

Well, I've seen 48, 60 and 72 spoke wheels fitted to big Healeys; that a
six spoke?

Cheers,
