[Healeys] Overinflated Tire in Storage

This little gem exploded today while quietly sitting under the rear of my recently repurchased AH 100 Modified. Checked the other rear tire after the event and it was at 44 PSI air pressure. Have no idea what the pressure was in this tire but assuming it was about the same. Made the car jump off the concrete far enough to trap a piece of rubber under the tire. Ladies and Gentlemen please check you tire pressures!  Glad I wasn’t closer to the car.
