[Healeys] Batteries

I took a stroll thru the archives but not find difinitive answers to my
hunt.

I need to replace a 2 year old Interstate battery in my BJ8.  The archives
mention Interstate (I'm not impressed with them) and the gel based
batteries.

What experiences have people had with dependability and longevity as well
as starting strength with batteries?  Should I consider Diehard in the
mix?
