[Healeys] dumb transmission question

The 100 BN1 has a 3 speed box. It is really a 4 speed but 1st gear was
blanked off as it was too low and deemed unnecessary due to the torque
available. The BN2 came with a 4 speed side-shift box which is the same as
that fitted to the 100-Six and 3000 although gear ratios were changed
during the period. You can retrofit a BN2 to a BN1, and many have, but
nobody would want to put a BN1 box in a 100-Six or 3000.
