Hello Simon.  The BJ8 Voltage Regulator or Control Box is RB340, Part No. 3733IH.  Details are below from Lucas ‘Equipment and Service Parts’ B.M.C.  CCE900 / 67  Page 28

Now I learn that they have different ampage ratings.
