[Healeys] Clutch slave cyl.

If you happen to have the gearbox cover out of the car (usually not the case, I know), you can sit in the driver's seat and bleed the slave cylinder in place. You need a piece of tubing going from the bleed valve into a jar in the passenger footwell, and a ring wrench over the valve, and everything's within reach. It's a bit ticklish getting the tubing in place, but once it's set up, it's really very easy.

Ämne: Re: [Healeys] Clutch slave cyl.  Warren, it's not necessary to prime them, but it helps to push the piston as far back as possible and hold it there while bleeding.  Requires less fluid to bleed that way.    Steve ByersHBJ8L/36666BJ8 RegistryAHCA Delegate at LargeHavelock, NC      From: Healeys [mailto:healeys-bounces at autox.team.net] On Behalf Of i erbs

Master cyl. was just rebuilt and working fine. Clutch hose was replaced 2001 and has no issues.   WD  67BJ8
