That is an interesting bit of trivia!
I have an aluminum boot lid, but would like to know where the cut ends on both the alum & steel lids.

Mike it is the correct seal for a 100 and the sharp edge goes to the outside. Where the cut ends up depends if it is a steel or aluminium boot lid.

Is this the correct cross section for the 100 trunk seal.  Of course it is a Moss item I bought a few years ago.  Just getting around to addressing the trunk area.  Which side goes towards the inside of the trunk?  All the way around in one piece? Where is the cut ends end up?
