>From time to time I read on this list some tend to swap to modern technology gimmicks. I know from experience and from my job as an electro-technology specialist, its not always good to do so and just wanted to highlight that you shouldn´t change to carbon with ignition wires.

I wasn't planning to change to carbon ignition wires for driving, just 
for checking the timing.
