[Healeys] Barrett Jackson Las Vegas Auction Oct 13-15

I would really recommend anyone seriously interested in buying a Healey at these auctions pay attention to little things like the VIN, body, and engine serial numbers.  I see a LOT of BJ8s in these auctions that look beautiful but that have replacement VIN plates and body plates from other cars, etc.   One of them I learned about later turned out to have a replacement VIN plate with an apparently-authentic number that was actually completely bogus, another car's body plate, and a number on the shock tower that belonged to a third car.  Some restorers are getting very careless (or worse) about such things.
