[Healeys] Hi Guys, I am wondering if anyone knows if there is one long spring pin that holds the shift lever in place on the BJ8 or two short ones? If there are two how long would each one be? Many thanks. Brad Holden

Bob,

As I understand it the set screws are on the BJ8 boxes only.

The centre-shift boxes on tri-carbs and BJ7s have a roll pin each side.

On all the centershift gearboxes there are two (what I would call) set
screws--Moss calls them 'BOLT, selector lever and gear lever'--one on either
side that retain the shift 'ball' in two grooves in the ball.

Moss shows them 'N/A.'
