There was an American postal stamp series that acknowledged just that (along with 'Vettes and T-Birds IIRC). We have them framed at my folks' house.

The Nash-Healey was launched on the US market on 16 February 1951, just over 65 years ago. 



It has taken some time for the car to find its rightful place in history as the first post-war American sports car.
