Has anyone tried any of the rebuilders that advertise in Hemmings, etc.?

Randy, Michael and all, 

I had this conversation with Michael last summer when the original water pump on my BN2 quit and he said to hold onto the original until rebuild parts were available and buy the moss item and leave out the valve. I bought the pump from moss $79.95 and besides having to grind a bit to make the pulley fit, to our surprise,the thread for the valve was ok.
