[Healeys] Whatsit?

This is just a swag response as I don't have any reference material available here in my hotel room. However, the assembly is incorrect and misleading. The item on the left looks like BJ8 throttle interconnect between the two carbs. The long link rod with the socket links at each end looks like the throttle switch link to the overdrive hold relay. The return spring and the link it is hung off is completely unknown to me and may not even be AH.
This is just a punt and I look forward to more informed responses to find the truth.
