[Healeys] Speedometer

Charlie,
Not a good idea to oil the speedometer I have been told.  Oil or grease
will interfere with the magnetic pick-up.  Cleaning up with alcohol on a
pipe cleaner of Q-Tip is OK.  The cable can be lubed to with the last 8-10
inches of the end that goes into the speedometer.  I have had the same
problem that you describe with my BT7.
