Well----I didn;t want to wait for settle time so I had my new springs "pre-shrunk" by 25%.  Now it doesn't look ugly sitting up like that.

I have seen higher in the rear than  this. With new springs it is what happens, it will settle with time. However, there's no difference between the earlier bodies and the BJ8, that is why the BJ8 looks a big high compared to the others.
