[Healeys] Xmas closures in the UK

Michael,

As Christmas this year fell on a Sunday, then a lot of businesses decided that with the following Monday / Tuesday being bank holidays, then they would make the most of the festive break and close down till after the new year.  Bearing in mind that Mdy 2nd  (and Tues 3rd if in Scotland)   is also a bank holiday then yes you effectively have a 10 day break.

Things will be back to normal mid next week.

Andy

Subject: [Healeys] Xmas closures in the UK

Question to UK subscribers:

I have been trying to reach RaceTech, a UK manufacturer of tachs and other instruments since last week with no luck. I now see that there is some kind of movement to have 10 day closures of small businesses in the UK around the holidays. Is this what I am encountering?

Best--Michael Oritt
