[Healeys] TR: BJ8 hood tear

Hi,

I'm anew BJ8 owner and have the following problem (see attached pictures) with the hood.

It seems to be torn on both sides.

I don't know what it is supposed to look like when sewn correctly.

Is there material missing or sewing it back (with no added material would fix it)?

Must the hood be taken off for repair, or can it be done without removing

There seems to have been some kind of glue where it's torn?
