That does look a bit scary, but I'm glad it worked out for you. How do you go across the width of the tire with this? 

I don't know who gave the tech session at Enclave, but it may have been Ken Beck of K&T in Allentown, PA who are a lot closer to you than Hendrix in North Carolina.
