Hi Tom,
In my experience measuring toe with the suspension hanging is totally inaccurate.
You need to get the suspension to its normal ride position.

Subject: [Healeys] Toe measurements on BJ8
Using the old stick method I tried to measure toe differences between the front and rear of the front tires----while car was jacked up.
The rear ----measured same tread to same tread was a goof 1/2 to 5/8" wider than the front. I believe there should be some positive difference between the two, but isn't this a bit much?
I have been getting uneven wear---on the outside of the tires and was wondering if this might be the reason.
Anyone have any thoughts you can share on this?
thanks
tom
