[Healeys] Old cars

Lenny has the right idea. All of us are only temporary caretakers of our
cars, and we'll have to pass them on to another caretaker sometime down the
road. That's why it is important to document your ownership in a registry.
If not, two or three owners down the road might want to know who owned the
car before them, and perhaps try to track you down for more information
about your time and experiences with it. How will they do that if there is
no record of your ownership and how to get in touch with you?

I frequently hear from new owners of BJ8s that they want to know the
ownership history of their cars, and do I have anything recorded in the
registry? It's really frustrating for them (and for me) when there is
absolutely no record of it and no way to find out.

I pass this on not because it is really Healey-related (nor even LBC), but
because I like his philosophy.
