I apologize. My reference was to current events in France, where intolerance manifested itself in violence. Doug Doug,I did not in anyway suggest that violence was an answer nor the solution.Gary

Yes, but violence is not an answer nor the solution. As long as one lives in the stone age, there is little chance for meaningful discussion. I know we prefer to eschew politics--although the situation is hardly political--on this List, but if there's any French Listers lurking out there my condolences for your losses and kudos to your security forces. 
    Wish more of our media would show the courage that Charlie Hebdo did.
