I don't know how far up the filler tube the petrol was filled...to the tippy 
top, I'll bet so that when the sun shines on your rear deck, there will be 
damaging overflow!

Gayle, I once measured the capacity of my (Moss Motors) BJ8 fuel tank from
dry to the bottom of the filler neck as 13 gals., 26 oz.

Just purchased a new steel gas tank from a well known parts seller.  It
measures 13 gals, I believe it should be
14.4 gals.  Has anyone else has this problem?  Is there a supplier that has
the correct capacity tank?
