[Healeys] Rocker assembly rebuilder

Glad to hear they're back in business. They rebuilt my BJ8's rocker arm many years ago and it's been flawless. May spring for one of their roller rockers when I rebuild the engine.

Got into a, uh, 'discussion' about 'true' roller rockers--with needle bearings instead of bushes--with a guy on the Forum. I've heard--no personal experience--that using cylindrical bearings in an application with limited motion can wear a grove in surfaces (since the bearings don't fully rotate they wear uneven). Makes sense to me--anyone have experience?

Mitch,
The place that was recommended previously was called Rocker Arm
Specialist. They went through an ownership change and the new owners
ran it into the ground. Then the employees bought the company and got
the old owner involved and they are now called Rocker Arms Unlimited.
Go to the new website and read all about it: http://rockerarms.com/
I had two rocker arms done by them before the shake-up, and one since.
They gave me the trade price on the latest one since I had been a
previous customer. I was quite happy with their work and would still
recommend them.
