[Healeys] Water Pump BN1

grab ahold of you fan. move it towards and away from engine. if it moves,
you most likely have a bad bearing. Slim chance the gasket is leaking.
Typically water comes out of the bottom weep hole after bearing/seal fails.
You should get a new gasket with replacement pump, if not gasket in a tube
works fine. Not sure if there is a shaft length difference with a BN1,
others can comment.
Best way to test a thermostat is a thermometer and a pan or water on the
stovetop. Note temp when stat opens, or if it fails to open....
