The twin sidelight model BJ8 were first built at the end of March 1965.

The US vehicle dating system for non-US cars has always been out of sync
with the manufacturing date of the cars.

lady in our club has a bj8 that has both front lights and the big amber
signal light in back which she bought new from factory in june of 65.  i had
always thought these were 66 models.
