G'day Andy
Thanks for that.
I first saw the film about 35 years back and have been looking for it to
show at a club meeting.
Anyone know (apart from spending $$$) how I can download it?

Subject: [Healeys] Video- Engine block manufacturing process
I came across this a couple of weeks ago and thought it was very
interesting.
The car shown is a series 1 Morris Isis (1955-56) and the gallery head being
fitted doesn't have a vacuum brake connection feature so guessing the film
was shot in 1955-56. This engine is the same as used in the 56 BN4 except
the dish pistons are changed for high compression flat tops, twin SU carbs
replace the single and a second fan blade is added.
Interesting to see the running in process is the same as other manufacturers
of the era- round to the redline on a dyno then give it to the customer to
drive gently for 500 miles. Also interesting is the completed engines with
their carburettors, manifolds and red fans installed have not all received
the final Morris Green paint.
