Mike, the shop that "lost" the bonnet should have insurance to cover the
loss. Demand the name of their insurance company and contact them directly.

Subject: [Healeys] Louvers?

As hard as it is to believe, the resto shop that is doing the body work and
paint to my BN2 lost the aluminum louver bonnet just before he is ready to
paint my car!B A thousand bucks gone. That's what I paid for it a few years
ago.B The price is more than that now of course.B Not wanting to talk
about how I have spent money twice for the same thing more than once during
this restoration, but a thousand bucks!?!B Anyway, I have the original
steel bonnet to use in it's place.B What I want to do is louver it. I will
remove the skin to have it done. Does anyone know who is louvering these
hoods with the correct equipment to make the round ends?B I have been told
the is a gentlemen in Connecticut that is doing it for $3-350.
