[Healeys] Chasing Classic Cars

I agree with Wilco2.  Those are all things I would want to check if buying an
unknown Healey plus a few more.  He could have said something positive about
finding a good one being a great experience in the wrap up.

The article is not
about "Healeys" it's about being careful of problems that
classic cars can
have like exhaust leaks, poor collision repair, rust issues,
tuning
idiosyncrasies, oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil, etc.

Compared to
many other classics, Healeys are hard to drive, they are low to
the ground,
they do sputter and cough, they do stink of oil, etc. The complex
chassis is a
known rust collector, and the exhaust system is prone to damage
and the
resultant leaks. These are not surprises to people who know Healeys.
