[Healeys] Through-the-Windscreen-and-Over-the-Bonnet

G’day

Having being brought up with kangaroos I am rather fond of them, but they and wombats are not something you would want to hit with your Austin-Healey.

I hit a wombat once and the Mini Cooper I was driving was a write-off, don’t know about the animal as it wandered away. The wombat is my favourite animal.

G’day

Don’t know if I wholeheartedly agree with Graeme on this point.

Australia certainly does have that type of majestic scenery, but it may not be in very accessible places. After all Australia is the oldest land mass on the planet.

Perhaps the attached photo of Barry Campbell’s BN4 on the north coast of Western Australia might be of interest.

Which is kind of ironic, since the only places outside the US and Canada I'd like to visit are Australia and NZ. Someday, I'll call upon you mates Down Under to recommend an itinerary for a trip.

If you get the chance, ship your Healeys to the US. The US Southwest--which, of course, is where this photo was shot (Arches National Park in Utah)--is to die for as a driving excursion. I'll meet you at the dock in San Francisco and plot a course for you.

Cheers,

Bob

Last one was well-received, so here's another.
