[Healeys] You Asked For It

Hello Ray,

I agree. This photo thing IS GREAT! (Thanks MB)

As one of our listers said the other day . . . a picture is worth a
thousand words. In our context I don't think this has ever been
truer.

I still have those rebound boxes . . . what's left of 'em. Maybe I
should plant them in my vege garden. All that iron will make me
bigger and stronger . . . but it won't make my hair grow back!

Cheers

Mark

Forget the museum. Those babies have returned to the elements.
They could be used to green up the foliage on the plants around the
yard.

Merry Christmas

Ray

PS: thanks for the post...this photo thing is great.

Ray,

This isn't a picture of my transmission spread out over the work
bench. It was in good shape. But the rebound boxes in my BN2
weren't! A friend suggested that, because of their obvious great age,
I send them to a museum.

Best Christmas wishes to you and all listers from a warm and breezy
Auckland . In 40 minutes Auckland radar will be tracking Santa as he
heads south, NZ being the first over the International Dateline in six
hours time. Then it is the turn of our Australian east coast
neighbours two hours later.

List

Chris said "now we only need a like button". The same thought
crossed my mind. I think many of you have added Healey folks to your
Facebook friends list because you loved our "Healey List" and wanted
photo ability. Now I'm not saying that your Grandchildren aren't the
cutest things in the world but...maybe not as Healey centric as I had
hoped for.

Now Mark has created just what I was looking for. When we all
have posted the beauty shots of our much loved cars I want to see the
photos of that transmission spread out on the bench missing teeth and
all, or maybe those Grandchildren sitting in your Healey and even
some shots from the old family album of that tour you took in college.
I loved Simon's comment about welding in the thatched roof garage.
She story with photo lets me get to know him on a personal level not
possible with words alone. ( Nice cottage Simon )

This list has been part of my life for nearly fifteen years now,
so much help so many friends and now "New and Improved" as they say.
Big thanks to Mark and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year
to all.

Ray Juncal
