There is no easy way, but with a 1/4 inch socket set and a jillion extensions, you can do it from under the car.

I am cleaning up my throttle linkage (steel threaded rods,etc.)B  are they
suppose to be plated (zinc/cadmium) or painted. ?B B  I was going toB  replace
bushings on the throttle rod under the firewall..........but that looks like
another can of worms I don't want to open ..or is there an easy way of
removing it?B  engine and trans are in car
