[Healeys] wheel balancing

Some years ago a friend of mine got some new Vredestein Classic tyres
for his nut and bolt rebuild TR6 with standard disc wheels. After
fitting and balancing and balancing again there still was some shaking.
Suspension and steering were all new. Moving around the wheels on the
car had some influence but he could not solve the problem satisfactory.
To make a long story short it appeared that (some of) the tires were the
cause. Without being defective from the point of view of the
manufacturer there were some uneven areas in the side wall of some
tires. After renewing the worst offenders the problem was practically
solved but never went away 100%.
So also have a close look at your tyres.
