Sounds like a poor ground some were. Check your lamp sockets and light
assys. to ground.

Subject: [Healeys] Light Issue

I find my left front turn signal light flashing more rapidly and dimly
than
the opposite number on the right front on my BN7. Conversely, the
parking
light bulb on the left is brighter than that on the right. I've tried
switching bulbs without success. I get a bright light on the wrong
filament
on the right side if I push the bulb into the socket with the incorrect
orientation. Whether germane or not, I recently replaced the wire from
the
flasher relay to the left front turn light flasher after it stopped
working.
That restored the bulb's flash function, but it's rapid and dim, as
described. I also removed all of the connections from the flasher unit
some
months back, but I believe I reinstalled the wires correctly. This is
the
second time I have replaced wires to what I'll call parking lights, the
earlier one to the left rear. In each case I believe the lighst
previously
worked fine. Puzzling.
Suggested annual donation $12.75
