Says it all really. Opel are notorious for their bad seats, especially 
Astra's. I always dread driving them home when I repatriate these 
vehicles from Italy, France , Spain etc. Another car with terrible seats 
is the bugeye small Renault Twingo. Good for an acute hernia.
